ATC’s Decommissioning Process
Step 1
Meet with Client
ATC meet with the client to establish the specific requirements for the decommissioning service.
Step 2
Route Planning
ATC return to the client with a staged plan outlining the actions to be undertaken, the list of stakeholders involved, permissions to be gained and any other required information based on discussions in Step 1.
Step 3
Rack Removal
ATC prepare and remove the racks safely from the data centre.
Step 4
Secure Transport
ATC securely transport the End of Life (EOL) equipment to the appointed location.
Step 5
Data Removal
ATC undertake a data scrub to ensure all data is securely removed from equipment.
Step 6
Equipment Recycling
ATC takes the equipment through the recycling phase of this process and issues the client with a certificate of destruction.
